Quick digest on the kids in our care
Pediatric Department at the Institute of Neurosurgery
1) Senyuk Sergiy — continuing with the treatment, thanks to Julia Kirpach for the antibiotics,wet wipes and yoghurt. The parents are waiting fro the reply from the Cancer Institute and a referral to Lviv;
2) Gorchilova Olya — post endoscopy, getting treatment, needs help with diapers (size 3) and wet wipes;
3) Semenyuk Milana — continuing with the treatment, muscle tone got a bit better, her condition is improving;
4) Zabolotniy Vitaliy — feeling better, based on the test results was prescribed Meronem and Fortum for 5 days. Was allowed to go outside.
5) Roma V. — still getting 39C fever :((
6) Tatsishina Aleksandra — discharged, will continue treatment at her local hospital. She will be getting one course of radiation and then physical therapy.
7) Kirdelev Misha — discharged, feeling good. His mother is saying thank you to everyone who helped her raise money for her son’s surgery and treatment.
8) Chut Anya - feeling well, discharged! Thanks everyone for your help — from Anya’s mother.
9) Golub Sofia — continuing with the treatment, test results got worse, getting a full check-up.
10) Dovzhuk Vitaliy — huge thanks for the help in raising funds for the shunting system. Vitalik is feeling much better.
11) Melehim Vadim — done with the postop treatment, is feeling much better, discharged!! He will still need physical therapy at home, though.
12) Voronova Mirra — still running a fever, taking Meronem, doesn’t let her mother leave her side.
Neurosurgical kids at the Ohmatdet
1) Bushinskaya Viktoriy — hearnia is still healing, she was discharged for the regional hospital in Boyarka, per mother’s request and promise to come back in for dressing..
2) N. Viktoriya — getting treatment, is breathing on her own.
3) Palamarchuk Bognana — getting treatment, gaining weight. Mother doesn’t visit.
4) Gergel Vera — transferred out of the ICU, getting treatment and kidney tests, critical condition.
5) Prokopyuk Luiza — getting the full check-up, in a few days we’ll know if she needs a shunt or if they will simply remove the reservoir.
Neurosurgical kids at the orphanages of Ukraine
1) Nikita M — discharged from the regional hospital, MRI is scheduled for July 29th. Hopefully, everything will go well this time.
2) Andrey G. Waiting for the reply from the rehabilitation clinic. It’s been two weeks already, since we sent them his documents.
3) Roma K — developing well.
4) Tima S — went to Chernihiv regional hospital for a full check-up last week. His grandparents visited him las weekend.
5) Nikita Ch. — developing and smiling ![]()
