Bogdan has been at the Institute since he was born. He has congenital hydrocephalus. Two months of the expensive antibiotic therapy. Now he can finally get surgery, but the parents ran out of money…
The surgery has been scheduled for July 24th.
We will be purchasing a Ukrainian shunting system, costing 4,000 UAH ($175). Plus surgical supplies and postop antibiotics — we need about 7,000 — 8,000 UAH ($300-#350) altogether.

12/9/15 Update
After the long treatment and several surgeries, the child has finally gotten better. He’s stable and was discharged to go home. He’s getting ready for physical therapy on Bohatyrskaya str. He’s feeling better at home.

12/8/15 Update
Bogdan had another surgery and treatment and is being supervised at the department till Monday. We’re hoping the treatment process will end and the child will start developing.
