The child is from Kherson Region. He was born prematurely and spent a week in an ICU. At the age of one month he had a shunt placed. Later he had a couple malfunction surgeries.
In 2013 he was referred to the Institute of Neurosurgery for the first time, where he had an endoscopy surgery. His condition improved significantly and he had started developing better. He went through a couple of rehabilitation courses. In July 2016 Rostik was taken for a scheduled MRI check, which revealed that his condition has worsened. So they came to Kiev again. Another endoscopic surgery is planned for today, August 9th, for which Rostik’s mother doesn’t have enough money.
They need help, about 10,000-15,000 UAH ($403 — $604).
